Saval

Saval is a Caerphilly-style washed-rind cheese and the gentler sister to our Celtic Promise.

Made in Ceredigion from raw cow’s milk, it has a soft, buttery centre surrounded by a wrinkled, slightly pink rind. Its flavour is creamy, aromatic and more delicate than Celtic Promise, making it an approachable introduction to washed-rind cheese.

Enjoy Saval as part of a cheeseboard with crackers, crisp apple or chutney. Its soft texture and gentle savoury character also make it excellent served with crusty bread.
